Why does LivingStone® cost less than some other
countertop materials?
We work smarter. Our Value section explains it all. Just click above on the main menu.
Why should I buy LivingStone® instead of granite?
Stone is terrific. And if it's a matter of seniority, stone wins hands down. Remember The Flintstones?

But wherever you might put bare skin, like a bare arm or an elbow. LivingStone® has it all over granite. Because LivingStone® feels silky, warm and welcoming to the touch. Granite feels icy cold.

You can always see the seams in granite. It's all but impossible to find the seams in LivingStone®.

Unlike granite, LivingStone® never needs sealing. It's naturally stain-resistant.

Best of all, LivingStone® usually costs considerably less than granite. So why not save some money on your

countertops

and upgrade your appliances or cabinets? Or maybe add a nice flat-screen TV?
Why should I buy LivingStone® instead of other
brands of solid surface?
We only make the most popular colors of

solid surface

. Without slow-selling colors in our inventory, we can keep our costs down. Considerably.

Because every color of LivingStone® is a best-seller, the odds are really good that any color you choose from our
Smart Palette™
will appeal to prospective buyers when you sell your home. That's one reason why we call it Smart.

Plus, choosing a color from 30 best-sellers is a lot easier than trying to pick a winner from a collection of more than 100. That's just one way LivingStone® makes your life easier.

Where can I buy LivingStone® ?
Right now we only sell LivingStone® in the United States. But we're available in every state! Just click here to see a list of authorized dealers.
How long does LivingStone® last?
With basic care, there's no reason LivingStone® won't outlive you. Solid surface has been around for about 40 years. And some original installations are still going strong.
How hygienic is LivingStone®?
LivingStone® is nonporous. So germs can't penetrate. And, unlike other materials, the seams are impervious. So germs can't hide out there, either.

If you really clean LivingStone®, it's really clean. Unfortunately, it can't clean itself. Nobody's invented a surface that can do that.

Also, if you choose a LivingStone® integrated sink, there are no sink lips to trap where germs can hide.

To totally disinfect LivingStone®, just wipe it down with a solution of equal parts of water and bleach.

Does LivingStone® stain?
LivingStone® is nonporous, so it's naturally stain-resistant. Stains just can't penetrate the 100%

acrylic surface

. And, unlike granite, LivingStone® never needs to be periodically sealed to resist stains.
How do I clean LivingStone®?
It's easy. Soapy water or an ammonia-based cleaner, such as glass cleaner, is all you need. If there's a stubborn, dried spill, try full strength bleach or Soft Scrub with Bleach.

Ordinary vinegar removes any hard water spots.

What if I scratch my LivingStone®?
Don't panic. LivingStone® is completely renewable, because the color and texture runs all through the material. Usually, just buffing with a ScotchBrite® pad will remove all but the deepest scratches. And even if you seriously scratch LivingStone®, in almost all cases your fabricator can easily restore it.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
Every inch of LivingStone® is covered by a limited transferable warranty for a full 15 years. Click here to download a PDF file of our warranty.
How do I register my LivingStone® warranty?
Piece of cake. Just click Register Warranty and fill out the form.
How environmentally responsible your company?
Some of our competitors are in the headlines every now and then because of environmental lawsuits. We don't want that kind of publicity. So we keep it as clean and green as we can. To download a PDF file of our environmental profile, click here.

Dr. LivingStone® isn't a real doctor. And he doesn't play one on TV. He's just the alter ego of the key people in our company.

Their collective knowledge of the solid surface industry spans decades.
